IPEM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL UNIFORM SPECIFICATION (Academic Year 2024-25 Onwards)

Dear Parents and Students,

Over the years, we’ve received many valuable suggestions from parents about updating our school uniforms to make them smarter, more comfortable, appealing, weather-friendly, modern, and practical.

Previously, we had two uniforms: one regular school uniform for daily use from Monday to Friday; and one house-coded uniform, which was worn on Saturdays and during sports.  The Saturday/house uniform has now been redesignated to be worn daily during summer (April to October) due to the hot weather, and the regular school uniform has been redesignated to be worn daily during winter (November to March) with the option of a sweater or blazer. Hence after the change there are still only two uniforms, i.e., summer and winter uniforms (Instead of Regular and Saturday Uniform).

Therefore bifurcation has now been made based on the months/seasons of the year instead of the earlier days of the week. Hence there are still only two uniforms like before, and the only difference is that parents no longer need to buy both uniforms together at the start of the year in April. This helps reduce the burden on parents of purchasing two uniforms simultaneously in April and also lowers the additional cost of buying half-sleeve shirts/kurtas for summer and full-sleeve shirts/kurtas for winter.

This change in the school uniform has been made for the first time in 20 years since the school started, and the re-designed uniform features our updated colored school logo. This re-designed uniform has been introduced starting with the academic session 2024-25.

To support this transition, we have provided detailed, class-wise, and gender-wise descriptions and images of the new school uniform on this webpage. We hope these changes in the uniform will enhance the comfort and appearance of our students and make them look even smarter than before.

Warm regards,

Principal, IPEM International School
