This year Red House showed its never-say-die spirit by winning the coveted ‘Liddle Shield’ for the first time in the history of IPEM International School & College. For the past few years Red House had been coming last, which created a strong feeling and need for success in the students. All failures were taken in their stride and all mistakes converted into useful lessons.

Throughout the year, the whole House fought to the finish and it was very interesting to watch the students as they held up in the face of stiff competition like valiant soldiers under an enemy barrage. Everybody was enthusiastic about participating in every event and tried their best to win the competition. They performed extremely well and outdid other houses by getting the first position in Creative Writing (English and Hindi), Spell Wiz, Badminton, Chess and Volleyball Competition.

Red House slipped a bit in its performance and secured the second place in i-Next Painting Competition(Group B), Slogan Writing Competition, Talent Hunt, Hindi Elocution, Hindi Skit and Student Board.

Keeping up the effort to win the ‘Liddle Shield,’ they fought hard enough to get the third position in events like: Poster Making, Face Painting and Fancy Dress, Science Quiz, Carom Competition, Hindi Elocution and for the Downstairs Board.

The Red House worked really hard this time and has learnt to put its best efforts in all the events whether big or small. We are gearing up for stiff competition from other houses and look forward to winning the ‘Liddle Shield’ again in the next academic year. We hope to take part in each and every event and competition with even more vigour, enthusiasm and team spirit in the next year.

“If there is no struggle, there is no failure. If there is no progress, there is no success. Failure is the pillar of success.”
