A Fancy Dress Competition was organized at the IPEM Auditorium on August 22, 2009.  Children from Pre-Nursery to Class II participated in the program.  Some of the personas in which the children were dressed included a commando, joker, doctor, fairy, flower, politician, witch, and slum boy. The first prize was won by Shrish Tulsiani, a Nursery student, who was dressed as a vegetable and demonstrated the importance of eating green vegetables.  In addition, a Talent Hunt was organized for the Class II students, in which the children showcased their talents by singing, dancing, and acting.  The enthusiasm and zeal with which the children participated and performed was extremely commendable.

The program concluded with the prizes begin given to the winners by Mr. A. Sunil Emmanuel (IPS), S.S.P., GRP, Allahabad.  Thereafter, Dr. S.D. Liddle, Director and Principal, gave the vote of thanks. In his speech, Dr. S.D. Liddle thanked and encouraged the parents of the students. He stated that competitions such as Fancy Dress are not only restricted to the students but also extend to the parents, and the effort made and interest taken by the parents is evident in the costumes of some of the children.
